Unemployment in Meadowlands

New graduates lacking work experience often find themselves trapped in a vicious cycle. They lack the experience needed to fill a job opening, which prevents them from getting employed.

High youth unemployment has a negative impact on economic growth and productivity that can’t be ignored. There is a risk of loss of talent and skills, since a great amount of university graduates are unable to find a job and put their knowledge and capabilities into producing innovation and contributing to economic growth.

Unemployment in my community is more likely to appear with the male gender. Most of them find themselves even getting into things they shouldn’t be doing. Most of them use drugs and end up on the road instead of looking for a better life.

Some do give themselves away to bad things or being influenced by the poverty they see to take drugs. They go out and open small businesses to help them gain an income and make a living. It is hard to watch people who are qualified to get jobs struggle ad give their lives away to all the things that will completely destroy the future they might have.

The boys who stand around in roads in the morning opening doors for people and sometimes playing games that they know: it is a skill of persuading people and those skills can be put t good use if they get proper employment and be able to feed themselves and their families.

Community members have resorted to gathering themselves in groups to look out for each other. Someone who is found doing any crime is usually not taken to the police station but rather the community takes the matter into their hand in what is called mob justice.

The greater the number of the unemployed or the longer they are without work the more money the government has to shell out. Therefore, the nation not only has to deal with the lost income and decreased production but also with additional cost.

In a household of 7 people you can find that only 1 person works and is responsible for feeding and maintaining the needs of those they live with. Some of the unemployed people go as far as committing crime to be able to make money. This also increases the rate of crime in the community.
